YAMAME YAMA = mountain ME = lady YAMAME = mountain lady YAMAME is land lock of SAKURAMASU. It likes center of flow, and lives in lower reaches more than IWANA. The trophy size YAMAME is about over 30cm. |

SAKURAMASU SAKURA = cherry tree MASU = trout SAKURAMASU = cherry tree trout A fisherman calls Cherry Salmon. SAKURAMASU is YAMAME come out to the sea and has returned to the river. Most males will stop at a river and be YAMAME. All females start a trip in a sea. They return the river in the season when a cherry tree blooms. A size is about 60cm. |

KAWASINZYUKAI KAWA = river SINZYU = pearl KAI = shellfish KAWASINZYUKAI = river pearl shellfish(oyster). KAWASINZYUKAI is very interesting. KAWASINZYUKAI is parasitic on the gills YAMAME at the time of a larva. Unless YAMAME inhabits the river, KAWASINZYUKAI can not make a living. |
